Whomever Allah desires to guide, He opens his chest to Islam, and whomever He desires to lead astray, He makes his chest narrow and straightened as if he were climbing to a height. Thus does Allah lay [spiritual] defilement on those who do not have faith.

[Quran, Surah Anam, verse 125]

Scientific interpretation of the above verse:

The Quran is a book of guidacance, but it also has many related scientific miracles. After considering the progress of human sciences today, another interpretation of this verse can be expressed, which indicates the scientific miracle of the holy Quran.

Scientists have discovered that the earth is surrounded by air {oxygen}, and this air is circumferentially up to a height of 30 km on all sides; the more one goes up , the more it becomes difficult for him to breathe, as there is lack of oxygen and that causes shortness of breath.

For this reason, the mountaineers who climb to high altitudes sometimes get exhausted. As they reach high altitude to a certain point, they get suffocated and sometimes it is possible they faint or die without oxygen high above.

It is for this reason that airplanes that fly on high altitudes must be equipped enough to regulate the oxygen level inside the airplane; otherwise, the passengers will have no oxygen at that height, and if there is a malfunctioning device that provides oxygen, the passengers must use special masks in order to meet such requirement. The other way to get oxygen is that the plane has to fly at a low altitude in order to save the lives of the passengers.
So one might wonder the above verse, which was revealed 1400 years ago that is related to the scientific knowledge of today as to how one would have known that by going at a height above the earth one requires oxygen and will suffocate at great heights. Subhanah la is this is not a scienfic miracle of the Quran?
