20th of Rajab 1435 AH - birth anniversary of the daughter of Imam Hussain(as) - Hazrat Sakina(as). She was born in 56AH

On this occasion of happiness in the house of Ahl-e-Bait(as), I wish to extend my felicitations and greetings to Prophet Mohammad(sawaw), Imam-e-Zamana(as), the Ahl-e-Bait(as) and to all the Momineen and Mominaat.

As is customary among the followers of Ahl-e-Bait(as), please recite
Ziarat of Bibi Sakina(as) to renew your allegiance to Prophet Mohammad(sawaw) and his Ahl-e-Bait(as). Links to this ziarat is available in the right had side menu.

Status of Hazrat Sakina(as)

Hazrat Sakina(as) is the daughter who is “Rehmat” in the house of Imam Hussain(as) and she is the daughter whom Imam Hussain(as) asked for especially in his night prayers (namaz-e-shab). Imam Hussain(as) used to love her so much that he always made her sleep upon his chest that is, always kept her close to himself.
