Ibn Abbas said:

The Messenger of God (pbuhahf) used to sit on the ground, and eat on the ground, and he would hold sheep in his hands, and he would accept the invitation of a slave to share bread made of barley.

This hadith is narrated by Ibn Abbas, who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to sit on the ground, eat on the ground, hold the sheep, and accept the invitation of slaves to eat barley bread.

This hadith highlights several important moral and social points:

1. Humility and Modesty: By sitting and eating on the ground, the Prophet of Islam demonstrated his humility. This act showed his lack of desire for worldly distinctions and luxuries.

2. Solidarity with People: By eating barley bread and accepting the invitations of slaves, the Prophet showed that all members of society have equal value and that class differences should not create distance between people.

3. Engagement in Daily Affairs: Holding the sheep indicates that the Prophet participated in daily tasks, demonstrating his understanding and empathy with the everyday lives of people.

4. Responding to Slaves' Invitations: This is very significant because, in the time of the Prophet, slaves had a low social status. By accepting their invitations, the Prophet respected their humanity and dignity, and he sought to change this incorrect perspective.

These behaviors of the Prophet generally illustrate the importance of ethical values such as humility, equality, and respect for all members of society regardless of their social status. These values are also emphasized in the Quran, inviting Muslims to follow them.
