Imam Muhammad Baqir (peace be upon him) :

"When Allah created the Intellect (‘Aql), He addressed it. Then He said: ‘Come forward,’ and it came forward. He said: ‘Turn back,’ and it turned back. Then He declared: ‘By My Might and Majesty! I have created no creature dearer to Me than you, and I have perfected you only in those whom I love..’"Indeed, My command, prohibition, punishment, and reward are directed towards you."
